Vesterheim will welcome Luther College families to its Decorah campus during Luther College Family Weekend 2026 on Saturday, September 19. The museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What visitors can expect
Admission is free for Luther students, faculty and staff, as well as Vesterheim museum members. Visitors can explore the museum’s collection, which the event listing says began at Luther in 1877, and stop by Vesterheim Commons.
Two guided tours are scheduled during the day: a tour of the Museum Building at 11 a.m. and a Heritage Park tour at 1:30 p.m.
