Work to control invasive plants is scheduled Wednesday and Thursday along two trails in Decorah’s Phelps Park trail system.
Where treatment is planned
Crews will cut Japanese barberry and buckthorn and treat the remaining stumps with glyphosate along the Upper Broadway Trail and above the Upper Phelps Park Trail.
The work area on the Upper Phelps Park Trail is beyond the second bridge from the park maintenance shop. Both treatment locations are part of the Phelps Park trail system.
